It is unthinkable OLF without Jaal Dawud Ibsa
He was formally assigned by the members of the front as a Secretary General and lead the organization for many years. He was struggling for the rights of the Oromo people since his school ages. Born to a peasant family in Horro-Guduru province of North East Wallaga, he sacrificed his time, energy, knowledge and full of his life for the sake of his people, the betterment of Ethiopia and the modesty of the Horn of Africa.
When he returned to his country from exile in September 2018, nearly two million people welcomed him warmly. That incident terrified the leaders of the current PP party who have thought that they would lose the power they got very easily if OLF contested them in free and fair elections. Accordingly, they copied the formula TPLF used in 1992 to drive OLF from the then transitional government and started a demonizing campaign against Dawud Ibsa and the organization he leads. The dirty game they have played for more than two years is now concluded with a slogan that says "Dawud Ibsa and his clique are expelled from OLF, new leaders are elected". Amazingly, the people who did this grave blasphemy are saying they would undertake a free and fair election. What a joke!!
The current childish and self-exaggerating leaders of the country are shallow minded in that they completely forget how they came to power three years ago. They fully disregarded the promise they made in April 2018 to the public. But history and the people are watching everything they are doing.
Dawud Ibsa Ayyana will be remembered all times for his commitments and his vigorous deeds in the history of the Oromo people's struggle for their national rights and freedom.
